CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, OPERATIONS, MA1NTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT
OF THE LYNN REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
Lynn, MA seeks a 20 year contract for it's 67 MGD Facility
The Lynn Water and Sewer Commission is generally seeking a firm to provide the following services (1) operate, maintain, and manage the wastewater treatment plant, 13 pump stations (11 existing and 2 future), one seasonal odor control facility laboratory, incinerator (if applicable). and ash/sludge landfill (collectively, the "Facilities), (2.) perform all necessary repairs and replacements to the Facilities, (3) design, construct and acceptance test certain Capital improvements, (4) provide support services for the Industrial Pretreatment Program, and (5) perform all related and ancillary responsibilities, as more fully set forth in the Request For Proposals.
The Request For Proposals will contain an appendix setting forth an Executive Summary relating to the Full-service design, build and operation of the Lynn Water and Sewer Commission's Combined Sewer Overflow Project. A separate Request For Proposals relating to the Combined Sewer Overflow Project is anticipated to be issued by the Lynn Water and Sewer Commission in early February 1999.
Request For Proposals will be available at the Lynn Water and Sewer Commission, 400 Parkland Avenue, Lynn, Massachusetts 01905 on February 2, 1999, 12:00 p.m. E.S.T. The charge to obtain the Request For Proposals is three-hundred dollars ($300.00). This charge is nonrefundable. Requests for Proposals will be available until April 1,1999 4:00p.m. E.S.T.
The Proposal submission deadline is May 3, 1999 by 4:00 p.m. E.S.T. The Lynn Water and Sewer Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The award of contract will be subject to the approval of theCommission.
