ZENONs U.K. OFFICE ANNOUNCES MUNICIPAL SEWAGE CONTRACT IN THE U.K.
ZENONs licensee, PURAC Group, secures breakthrough contract to supply ZENON membranes for municipal sewage plant
Burlington, Ontario, February 22, 2000 ZENON Environmental Inc. (TSE: ZEN, ZEN.A) announced its entry into one of the largest markets in the world for wastewater treatment. ZENONs U.K. office has won an order, valued at over $3 million, to supply ZENONs leading edge ZeeWeed® membrane technology for a municipal sewage plant in the United Kingdom. Construction of the new plant will begin later this year and will be operational in 2001. Once completed, the plant will service a community of 40,000 people.
