Azurix North AMerica wins $2.6 million in new contracts

HAMILTON, ON - Azurix North America announced today that it secured $2,555,000 CDN in new contracts during the month of May.

Under these contracts Azurix will deliver water and wastewater related services to six municipal clients in the United States and Canada. The services include engineering design; operations and maintenance; and biosolids management.

"These contracts are indicative of our unique position as the only

"Even when Azurix is hired to provide a single service, our customers benefit from our understanding of the entire life cycle of water and wastewater related infrastructure."

The new contracts are with customers in:

  • Florida - three contracts totaling $1,425,000 CDN. The largest
    is a $1,313,000 CDN contract for rehabilitation of six pumping stations.

  • Texas - a municipal wastewater lagoon cleanout worth $240,000

  • Oregon - a $375,000 CDN contract to remove and transport
    municipal biosolids.

  • New Jersey - a $14,400 CDN wastewater metering and monitoring
    program contract.

  • British Columbia - two contracts totaling approximately
    $500,000 CDN, for the design and implementation of residuals management
